ABOUT

Effie Milos is a artist who has been showcasing her artwork from past to present. Her work reflects a blend of traditional techniques with modern interpretations, creating a mesmerising visual experience.​Formally trained at Sydney College of the Arts, majoring in Photography. Then onto Enmore Design Centre, completing an associate diploma in Jewellery & Object Design.

 

Effie has a long background in art, design and making. She started her career in photography before moving into jewellery and sculpture, employing a sense of composition, colour and light that moves from two dimensional images to moving objects. Effie has exhibited in large sculptural format as well as wearables, in group and solo shows locally and internationally.​

 

Based in Sydney, she has also held residencies in Darwin, Wellington NZ and Athens Greece, where she studied the ancient form of hand carving marble. Throughout, she has produced contemporary 2D and 3D art for exhibitions and commissions.
